Ono-Fix Inc. ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Ono-Fix Platform.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide: name, email, phone number, password, profile photo, payment details, ID for verification, location, reviews, in-app messages.
b) Information collected automatically: device info, IP address, browser type, OS, app version, usage logs, approximate geolocation.
c) From third parties: identity verification providers, payment processors (Stripe), and background-check services (for Providers).
2. How We Use Information
We use information to: (a) provide and improve the Platform; (b) verify your identity; (c) process payments; (d) match Clients with Providers in your area; (e) communicate with you about bookings, support requests, and platform updates; (f) prevent fraud; (g) comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing of Information
We share information with: (a) other users as needed to facilitate a booking (e.g., Provider sees Client's name & address after acceptance); (b) payment processors (Stripe, PayPal); (c) SMS/email service providers (Twilio, SendGrid); (d) law enforcement when legally required; (e) service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Communications & TCPA Consent
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages (booking confirmations, payment notifications, support replies) from Ono-Fix. Standard message and data rates apply. You may opt out by replying STOP. Email communications can be unsubscribed via the link in any email or by emailing privacy@handyhub.com.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the Platform may not function correctly.
6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect about you; (b) request a copy or deletion of your data; (c) opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell); (d) limit the use of sensitive personal information; (e) be free from retaliation for exercising your rights. 7. Your Rights in Other U.S. States
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and similar states with comprehensive privacy laws have analogous rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability. Contact us to exercise them.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After account deletion, residual data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. However, no system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Platform is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA). If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
11. International Users
The Platform is hosted in the United States. If you access from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified via email and an in-app banner.
